Biography
Eng. Peter Daud Chisawillo is the Managing Director of Intermech Engineering Ltd, an engineering firm based in Morogoro Tanzania, engaged in the design, development and manufacture of Post-Harvest machinery, Agro-processing equipment and Agricultural implements.
He serves in the Boards of Directors of the National Development Corporation (NDC), the Tanzania Roads Fund Board (RFB), the Dar-Es-Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority (DAWASA), the Tanzania Engineering Design and Manufacturing Organization (TEMDO), and is a member of the Council of the Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST).
He also serves in the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) and is a member of the Tanzania National Business Council (TNBC)
He is the Past President of the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) (2013-2016) and Past Chairman of the East Africa Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (EACCIA).
Eng. Chisawillo holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Nairobi University and MSc. Degree in Design Engineering from Cranfield University, Cranfield-Bedford, UK.
